The motor, which is one of the most important parts of the Treadmill, is located on the front of the device, generally on the left side, under the large plastic cover. Each Brand, Model Treadmill may have different horsepower (HP) and different operating principles.
Coal-fired DC type Motor is generally used in Home Type Treadmills (for Individual Use), while AC type is used in Professional Treadmills. AC type motors are suitable for intensive use.
